02/17/2026 By admin Leave a Comment

■  ENGLISH VERSION

Title: The One Who Transmits the Love of Nature Until the End- Complete Summary of the Six-Part Series

The Overall Flow of the Structure

The six themes intended for the New Year have now been organized according to their structural progression.

This series unfolds in a clear ascending order.

○ Subject: New Year’s Address for the Byeong-O Year, 2026 (The Year of the Red Horse)

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/569?svc=cafeapp

■ Part:1 Referring to History

By addressing history and tracing the origin of Kimu (氣武) and its traditional lineage,

the series clarifies where this path began.

——–

○ Subject: Kimu (氣武), the Eastern Origin (Dongyi) of Martial Arts, and the Global Transmission of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/573?svc=cafeapp

■ Part-2 Raising the Problem

It examines how the language of the body disappeared

and how martial arts gradually transformed into technique-centered systems,

analyzing the process of distortion.

——–

○ Subject: Restoring the Lost Language of the Body and Mu (武)

— Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Kimu Training and the Search for the Forgotten Half

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/576?svc=cafeapp

■ Part-3 Understanding Restoration

Through reflection on restoration,

it presents an integrated structure aligned with natural law

and reveals that martial arts, philosophy, and healing are fundamentally one.

——–

○ Subject: Core Explanation of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Based on the Principles of Nature

— Training That Begins with Understanding and Is Completed Through the Body

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/579?svc=cafeapp

■ Part-4 Comparative Analysis

Through comparison with other martial systems,

it explains the structural uniqueness of Kimu training

and its essential differences.

——-

○ Subject: The Essence of Kimu Philosophy in Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu

— The Fundamental Distinction Between Recovery-Based Martial Arts and Other Systems —

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/585?svc=cafeapp

——-

○ Subject: Kimu (氣武): The Restorative Singularity of Martial Arts

― A Turning Point Back to the Lost Point of Origin ―

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/587?svc=cafeapp

■ Part-5 Clarifying the Philosophical Foundation

By revealing the root of Kimu philosophy,

and presenting the principles of transmission along with the Seven-Star structure,

it shows how this philosophy can be preserved without distortion.

——–

○ Subject: The Foundation of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Kimu Philosophy

— The Path of Transmission Following Natural Order and the Seven-Star Structure

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/589?svc=cafeapp

○ Subject: Philosophical Charter of UWHKF (English and Spanish, Korean Version)

https://m.cafe.daum.net/uwhkf/MbWZ/152?svc=cafeapp

■ Part-6 The Human Being Who Transmits

Finally, it describes the person who transmits the love of nature until the end—

defining concretely the philosophy of the transmitter and the standard of the practitioner.

———-

○ Subject: The One Who Transmits the Love of Nature Until the End

— The Transmission Philosophy and Seven-Star Structure of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Aligned with Natural Order

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/591?svc=cafeapp

■ Conclusion

The Meaning of These Six Parts

This series is not a mere theoretical arrangement.

Through the flow of:

History (part-1)

→ Problem (part-2)

→ Restoration (part-3)

→ Comparison (part-4)

→ Structure (part-5)

→ Human Being (part-6)

it portrays the process through which martial arts return to their rightful place within life.

It begins from origin,

examines corruption,

explains restoration,

establishes structure,

and ultimately moves toward the completion of the human being.

Each of the six parts stands independently,

yet together they form a single path.

That path ultimately leads to

awakening to the flow of energy through the body

and establishing a human being who transmits the love of nature until the very end.

Uncovering the Key Principles and Essence of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Practice

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/245?svc=cafeap

I am going to illustrate for trainees to explore the core and essence of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu practice in brief as follows.

In the training of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo

Through Ki-Mu training, one becomes aware of the flow of energy – Mindfulness and Awareness.

Even Breathing and Normal Mind form the foundation of all practices – Enlightenment.

By employing one or two swords,
one seeks mental and physical training to grasp how to move the body automatically – the principle of body movement.

Practitioners engage in Ki Mu Practice, a training method that cultivates a deep connection with the flow of energy. – Flow of Energy

This practice fosters a heightened state of mindfulness and awareness, where even the act of breathing and maintaining composure becomes the foundation of all training endeavors, ultimately leading to enlightenment. – Enlightenment

Through the use of one or two swords in physical training, practitioners gain a profound understanding of the principles of body movement.

Ki Mu training emphasizes the importance of maintaining Even Breathing and a state of Normal Mind (composure), while sword training focuses on achieving body harmony and balance. – Mastery of how to move the body automatically

■ Ki-Mu Training – Even Breathing and Normal Mind

○ Seeing the Light Energy
○ Following the Flow of Energy
○ Mastery of the principle of natural and automatical movements
○ Awareness of the Energy operating in the Body
○ Understanding the Functioning of Energy in Each Organ, and so on

■ Sword Training – Harmony and Balance

○ The Sword as an Extension of the Arm

○ The Sword’s Movements Follow the Body’s One.

○ Body (+E) Movements Follow My Mind

○ My Mind (+E) Follows the Energy (Love) of Nature

☆ Simbeop (Mind Method)
☆ Sinbeop (Body Method)
☆ Dobeop (Sword Method)

=> Understanding the Triadic Structural Principles

■ Healing System
with Vipassana Acupuncture Practice

Identifying the blockages and openings of energy in uncomfortable or painful areas and establishing the communication of energy to return to balance and harmony through practice.

The methods of practice include meditation, acupuncture, using stones, swords, and any other tools.

The principle of the body moving automatically and naturally is based on the fundamental concept that my body is not truly mine, and the energy is not mine either.

All the above training methods share the same underlying essence, providing a common foundation.

Whether it is sword training or
acupuncture, regardless of the tool used, it becomes a tool for my mental and physical training, leading to the elevation of martial skills and guiding human life to a better state.

Therefore, the reason why all practice and religious groups use phrases such as “forget yourself,” “discard yourself,” or “empty mind” becomes clear through experiencing and understanding directly through Ki-Mu practice with one or two sword training.

In summary:

As practitioners delve deeper into their training, they come to realize that their body is not separate from themselves but rather a vessel through which energy flows.

This understanding leads to a state where the body moves instinctively, and practitioners recognize the impermanence of self-identity.

This principle is echoed in various other spiritual and training disciplines that encourage individuals to let go of self-centeredness and transcend their limitations.

Through the integration of Ki Mu Su Practice and sword training, practitioners are able to directly experience and comprehend the rationale behind the emphasis on selflessness and self-transcendence in all forms of training and spiritual pursuits.

This holistic approach enables individuals to achieve higher levels of accomplishment beyond mere mastery of martial arts techniques, which is the goal of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo training

Ultimately, the training in Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu leads practitioners to the right practice for better training and a better life as well.

The following contents are writings from the beginning of this year, expressing the attitude and determination for welcoming the New Year. Today, once again, I read the following content and translated it into English to share with many people around the world. It is a long sentence, but I hope you find it helpful if you read it through to the end. (July 10th, 2023).

====================

■ The Correct Foundation and Self-Acquirement of Martial Arts Training

– Techniques, Philosophy, Healing

The United World Haedong Kumdo Federation, under the name of the organization, has been promoting and spreading Haedong Kumdo worldwide for 23 years. In 2001, it held an official seminar  at the Tulsa Convention Center in Oklahoma, USA and published the text book for two swords training. That same year, it showcased the first stage performance of Haedong Kumdo at the Busan Cultural Center, introducing the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK. Since then, I have been visiting nearly mor than10 countries each year, and in 2009, finally, it hosted the World Championship. Despite the busy schedule and the challenges faced, the federation has continued to thrive thanks to the special connections with people from various countries.

Every time I step onto the plane, there is an indescribable excitement that

leads me back to my initial passion.

Over the past two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic,

overseas schedules have been greatly reduced, and many dojangs are still facing serious management difficulties. However, starting from this year, it seems that overseas schedules will become particularly busy once again.

As I approach my 70s, a time when I need to take care of my health, I am grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the past and rekindle my mental and physical well-being

through the two year period of the pandemic.

As we welcome the Year of the Black Rabbit in 2023, I have shared my thoughts and determination about martial arts training. I have emphasized the importance of mastering the fundamentals of martial arts and the essence that guides it. Through martial arts training,

I have strived to provide my own perspective on how to live a fulfilling life

based on physical and mental development and conscious change through daily practice.

My motto for this year,

“Strong in body, strong in mind.”

Nowadays, through the internet, we have easy access to remarkable individuals showcasing their skills and talents on platforms like YouTube and Facebook. We are constantly amazed by their passion and draw fresh energy from them. Therefore, you aspire to be more passionate and adventurous this year.

I think that’s a fantastic goal!

Engaging with passionate and creative people through YouTube, social media,

and other avenues can be truly inspiring. I hope you have a year filled

with enthusiasm and embrace new challenges!

■ Improving Quality of Life through Martial Arts Training

As we welcome the Year of the Black Rabbit in 2023,

let’s take a moment to reflect on ourselves and revisit our initial aspirations.

Ultimately, the final task can only be “Strong in body, strong in mind,”

which can be both the easiest and the most challenging.

It will ultimately determine the quality of our lives.

In other words, we must contemplate how practicing martial arts

can elevate the quality of our lives.

Our bodies should constantly be in motion, while our minds,

as long as our physical beings are alive

and breathing, should be shaped by the repeated experiences of right and wrong, good and bad.

This process will foster personal growth and maturity.

■ We must constantly move forward with passion for what we want to achieve

and a challenging mindset in order to truly live.

With passion for what we aspire to and a courageous mindset to embrace challenges,

we must continually strive forward. At the age of over 60, if we don’t keep our bodies in motion,

if we neglect our daily practice even for a day,

it is no different from leaving a rusting vehicle to decay.

We can’t help but be certain that our physical machinery will quickly deteriorate.

Therefore, the notion of “Move to Live” is ingrained in our minds at every moment.

I have no choice but to have more passion than before,

because I know from experience that things don’t just work out on their own.

There are more challenges than before,

and I have no choice but to face my shortcomings,

because I’m always aware of what I’m passionate about,

what I’m open to, and what I want to achieve.

I have to be more careful than before,

because the machine gets old and its shortcomings appear more frequently.

As my physical senses diminish, it becomes harder to adapt to my surroundings,

because the body’s mechanisms become weaker and less flexible over time.

I feel more acutely the shortcomings and age of my physical body,

because as the physical organs deteriorate,

I can see everything more clearly with a sharpened mind.

All of the above is for oneself to live well during their lifetime.

■ The Basics of Basics for Martial Arts Training

There are countless types of stretching, hundreds of techniques and ranks for promotion,

training systems for weapon and unarmed combat,

weight training, and various methods and processes ranging from light walking exercises.

The more consistent you are, the more you realize that the volume decreases

as it becomes optimized in your mind.

Many techniques I teach are laid out on the palm of my hand.

While the fundamentals of each martial art are important,

it is crucial to understand the flow and essence of energy underlying each movement. This refers to the principles, laws, and truths of nature.

Only through awareness of the flow of energy and repeated training

can one truly understand the essence of martial arts and achieve

the most efficient training based on their own level and ability.

Factors such as the size of an association,

the ability to remember techniques, or the skill to create and perform

techniques do not directly impact the essence of mental and physical training.

While martial arts training is for the physical and mental well-being of modern individuals,

martial arts itself guides one to overcome and adapt to their environment efficiently.

It also leads to personal growth and mental training,

although the level and degree may vary greatly.

■ Establishing and Pursuing the Right Philosophy through Martial Arts Training

The essence of mental training lies in making the body and mind healthy and contributing to everyday life based on that. Just as enlightenment through training is worthless without practical application, if it is not the case, it becomes meaningless.

In other words, through the promotion of mental training, one develops a foundation for wise judgment based on the harmony and balance of the ever- changing mind. It allows individuals to have the right family values, social values, national values, and global values according to their own level and degree, and fosters the pursuit of correct values and conscious growth.

Through martial arts training, one discovers the establishment and pursuit of the right philosophy, and comes to understand the principles of improving oneself and benefiting others. It also refers to the realization of the meaning of Simgeom (心劍), and the significance of the mind and sword in a fresh and profound way with the body and mind.

The enlightenment gained through such mental training is to guide oneself correctly, both physically and mentally, to live a little less difficult, a little less painful, and to pursue a better path until the end.

While individual meditation and prayer may provide solace and comfort to one’s own mind, they do not in themselves lead to personal development. In other words, they are unrelated to the performance sheet (report card) in one’s daily life.

This is because personal growth and maturity, in other words, a good result, can only be achieved through the collision of relationships with others and the repeated enlightenment through such processes, including good and bad experiences.

What can be confidently said is that when one becomes aware of and follows the flow of energy given by nature through meditation or prayer, one can perceive it more clearly.

Even if one can see the light and even if one can see the unseen world that others cannot see in a video,

it is insignificant compared to a grain of sand on a beach,

and it is only comforting and consoling during the process of practice,

unrelated to one’s own performance sheet.

However, it is not a denial of such a process, but rather, one should not be attached to it.

It is necessary to understand and acquire the essence, purpose, and reality that it brings.

■ Acquiring the Correct Foundation and Self-Acquirement of Martial Arts Training – Skills, Philosophy, Healing

Training in martial arts is about training the mind and body.

It involves mastering the fundamental skills, exploring the principles, laws, and truths behind them

through philosophical inquiry, and using that knowledge

to understand the human body and even reach the realm of healing others.

Once you grasp the fundamentals and hone them, everything becomes interconnected.

Depending on individual efforts and abilities, the three aspects of martial arts training,

namely skills and their principles, philosophy, and healing, are all connected under one essence.

Only then can one truly experience the meaning of martial arts;

skills of ma(musul), do of ma(mudo), mastery of ma(muye)

according to the Principle of Nature.

Whether it be the true meaning behind the sword techniques, the skills of archery or spear, or the essence of the healing arts, one can approach them more closely

through actual experiences which may be given from nature.

Moreover, when one recognizes these fundamentals,

they can discuss finally

the stroke of a sword,

the skills of the sword (a single movement),

the philosophy (the essence and principles of the body),

and the human body (healing).

After practicing the sword for about ten or twenty years,

one gains relatively more freedom to create their own style of swordsmanship and takes pride in it.

They may create videos, put their name on it, attach the name of an association to it,

and even guide other students, despite having only one dojang(school).

Other necessary skills are learned here and there, picking them up as they are seen. They may buy certificates with money and suddenly claim to be a 4th or 5th dan on Facebook or other websites, showcasing it as their own career. Such things are quite common even online.

It can be compared to doodles on paper or solving puzzles, rather than martial arts.

Alternatively, it is like teaching only memorized techniques as if it were the entirety of martial arts.

For example, if elementary school students who have trained for about a year are asked to create a short form or technique in creative sparring with one or two swords or creative forms without weaponry, they can create it incredibly well, combining impressive kicks and movements with skillful sword techniques.

■ The Founding of Martial Arts

The founding of martial arts is not solely based on exceptional physical abilities or technical skills. The three elements mentioned above must be inherently present and intertwined as the foundation. It requires a clear philosophy and martial skills that embody the distinct personality and determination of the founder, based on the principle of nature. This is what elevates the founding of martial arts to its pinnacle, becoming an inspiration and legacy for many, fostering proper character and cultivation through martial arts. Merely practicing martial techniques for a long time or claiming to have created a specific style does not make one a true founder. Even if these three elements are fulfilled, the levels and degrees can vary greatly.

However, if circumstances align fortunately, such as impeccable timing and unknown connections and societal conditions, the lacking aspects must be filled in. Otherwise, attempts to inject opaque historical significance and nonsensical philosophy would render it devoid of value for future generations. Even if it does succeed, it would forever remain a mere imitation. Without philosophy and alignment with the principle of nature, it cannot endure.

In the left picture, even if one trains rigorously and becomes physically strong and skilled in martial techniques in Area A, if they cannot understand the principles in Area B, their martial arts training can be considered incomplete. In reality, they would be missing out on 99 percent of the true essence of martial arts.

The term “martial arts (muye, mastery of ma)” encompasses both Area A and Area B. It means that one must understand the principles of both areas in order to truly grasp the meaning of martial arts. If one remains unaware, they may try to pass off their limited knowledge gained from various books or explanations as if they truly understand.

The principle , law, and truth of nature are inherently simple and clear. If one does not personally experience and recognize them with their body and mind, they will never find the correct and true way to reach the ultimate destination. It is like the loud noise of an empty vessel, persisting until the end.

In other words, it means living a lifetime within one’s own delusion and simply going along within one’s own limited understanding. Instead of learning when they don’t know, they consistently claim to know even until death. It also means being unaware of being trapped in one’s own well.

Now that the new year has come, there are no big ambitions, dreams, or special things to put on the bucket list. That kind of thing has long been a clumsy word. Rather, we hope to lead a more realistic, healthy, and wise life, pursuing a more ordinary and simple life, and in the process of encountering relationships, we have a more giving, understanding, and realizing heart, creating a life of learning at every moment. Because that is the best and the highest as a top-notch one for sure.

This year, above all, despite having experienced and passed through Corona, it is also a time when more careful attention is needed to our health and what we want to do than usual, as the risk is still unclear.

We hope that the new year of the Year of the Black Rabbit will be a year of working hard to make both our bodies and minds strong, making it a less regretful and more progressive year, adapting well to our surroundings with more passion and enthusiasm in everything we do, and living a healthy life as a person who is ordinary and simple.

Title: Tickets for the Next Life (Travel Destination)♥

As we age, it is said that “we must move to live.” Everyone wants to live a long and healthy life without suffering until the end.

Therefore, by exercising, monitoring nutrition, and engaging in hobbies, we stimulate the extension of a healthy lifespan while taking care of social and mental well-being.

Diet, lifestyle habits, and exercise habits are crucial for a healthy lifespan. However, adhering to these three alone does not guarantee the achievement of our desired goals.

Being alive and breathing on this planet called Earth with our human body is undoubtedly for a reason.

That reason is the ultimate goal we must strive to reach in human life.

Ensuring that our body machine functions well is not only our duty but also a necessary condition and the foundation for everything we do in life.

However, if we only focus on nurturing our physical bodies, we are no different from animals. The difference between dogs and humans lies in the fact that humans can engage in deep thinking.

These three correct habits contribute to physical well-being, but they are under the administration of our mind that regulate and control them. Maintaining a Normal Mind (평상심), Even Breathing (고른 호흡), Action in moderation form the foundation for inner peace.

As human beings, we should engage in human relationships, read books, contemplate, have enlightening experiences, and base our actions on them, continuously upgrading ourselves in Body and Mind with Spirit until the end of our lives.

That is why it is good to engage in economic activities until the end.

– Economic activity means constantly engaging in relationships, requiring good thoughts, and deep contemplation.

– To pursue meaningful activities, we also compete with others and focus on generating good ideas.

– It is because we have the capability and permission from our health and abilities that we passionately pursue continuous self-development and exploration for social communication.

In the process, we stumble, fall, and stumble again, searching for the right and better path.

That is “human life.”

Within that, we can explain why humans must experience suffering, practice patience, show understanding, be generous, and love.

The clear truth is that all of these are for our own sake.

Once we realize this, we may collide with momentary confusion regarding fluctuating, superstitious, and religious beliefs.

Many illogical and unrealistic things have been passed down to us from our parents and society since birth.

In other words, it also means wasting time, money, and energy on unnecessary things, things that don’t need to be done, and frivolous and futile actions that exist in our subconscious.

Human beings create their own values and levels of consciousness up to this very moment. It determines the degree of each individual’s refinement, character, and personality in human relationships, as well as the social level and extent throughout life.

The human body is a machine that needs to move to survive, and it is said that the “Human Mind” controls and regulates it. As time goes by and the body machine ages, it becomes increasingly evident how much “one’s state of mind” has a profound impact on the human body machine. Moment by moment, in each and every experience, it is easy to perceive through daily life.

Even if the mind is slightly agitated and not at ease, the head becomes dizzy, confusion sets in, digestion becomes difficult, and the body trembles uncontrollably, experiencing moments where one can not maintain control.

All of these things are influenced by one’s “state of mind.”

As an example, people who have had a near-death experience or who have miraculously survived death undergo a complete transformation in their values and lifestyle patterns. In other words, they become new individuals and wisely weave together how to live and cultivate the remaining life until the end.

The changing points are as follows:

– The mind becomes softer and more relaxed.

– They genuinely possess a heart of giving.

– Their perspective on the world becomes fair.

– They do not engage in trivial tactics or manipulations and are not swayed by the crowd mentality.

– They live their one and only life truthfully.

– They act as they are without comparing themselves to others.

– They possess a heart of service, love, and genuine gratitude.

In essence, it means to live out one’s daily actions with a loving heart, an awakening mind, a believing heart, and a heart that seeks understanding. It is rooted in a heart of reverence, prayer, humility, gratitude, and the willingness to lower oneself truly.

It is the core essence of the philosophy of human life that countless sages from hundreds, thousands of years ago have emphasized in numerous scriptures that have been passed down.

It is the most fundamental aspect of human life that serves as the foundation for religion, philosophy, humanities, and beyond, surpassing anything that is awe-inspiring, mysterious, and profound.

If anything else except for words above mentioned, it is what humans have created.

Truth is not complex or profound, but simple and concise.

Those who possess such a mindset or state of mind are called enlightened individuals, and their lives are referred to as enlightened lives.

This can only be achieved when there is transformation in consciousness, resulting in a change in all daily habits and patterns of behavior.

It is possible for anyone because that is how we are created.

The changed patterns of lifestyle and behavior are not difficult or profound, but based on simple and basic principles that everyone knows.

They involve loving and sharing, helping and giving, constantly striving to improve one’s own life while contemplating and reflecting upon oneself.

They do not discriminate between “your side” and “my side” and are not entangled in trivial matters and manipulations.

Because something is lacking,  because something is sought and desired, they unknowingly bind themselves with their own desires and preferences.

On the right path of life, they always recognize the importance of the present moment and strive to do their best, avoiding unnecessary things.

This becomes the foundation for extending a healthy lifespan and elevating one’s own values and level of consciousness. Therefore, it comes close to the ultimate goal of human life.

In other words, the ultimate goal of human life is to cultivate Love and promote Spiritual Growth, becoming the source of driving force that makes life less difficult, less challenging, and less painful, while achieving what one desires, needs, and seeks.

People say so often that a person comes into this world empty-handed and leaves empty-handed.

But they take the “Love” they have accumulated using the borrowed machine called the body.

That becomes their Report Card of Life.

It becomes the “Ticket to the Next Destination.”

The magnitude of that love depends on each individual’s mindset. That is the Ilcheyusimzo (일체 유심조, 一切唯心造) in Korean, which means ” Throughout life, everything in the world depends on my mindset.”

Understanding the meaning is easy, but only through repeated experiences of it, one can approach the essence that makes it move.

Most people interpret it

from “a human perspective” alone.

If it can not be interpreted from “a natural perspective,” it is as futile as overlooking an oasis in the desert. Thus, it is impossible to truly experience the hidden meaning of the words. The most important thing we should know in a correct practice while living is to be able to understand how to think from Nature Prospective.

Ants and Beetles

Ants and Beetles

Tonight, the distant sea is unusually filled with fishing boats, illuminating the calm night sea with bright lights.

They diligently search through the unseen waters, struggling tirelessly throughout the night to survive.

On the other side, the night in this Oryukdo Park is incredibly peaceful. On this particular night, the bikies adorned their mopeds with dazzling headlights and lined up on the Ohryukdo Skywalk, shining brilliantly as if in their own world.

Even stray cats seem to be at ease, as if everything in the world belongs to them. The tall lotus flowers standing tall at night catch one’s eye.

The vibrant lights from the fishing boats in the distant sea, the cozy lights shining through apartment windows, create a striking contrast that captivates the heart.

The fishermen on the boats hope for a bountiful catch of fish today, though it may be in the depths of the water,

unseen by the eyes and untouched by their hands, the countless experiences of their past struggles instill confidence and hope.

This boat, that boat, yours and mine, all prepared in a similar manner. Only when the fish come in, it becomes my catch. It becomes mine as much as it comes in.

Human life is the same.

With desires, needs, and goals,

but being unable to see a step ahead

is what makes us human.

Even if we bow hundreds or thousands of times, even if we pray day and night throughout our lives, there is no guaranteed way for our wishes to come true.

The world is fundamentally fair.

Only what I do, what I achieve,

becomes mine.

That is the measure of love.

Throughout life, the only things that truly belong to us are the fruits we have harvested and gathered.

That becomes “our report card of life.”

It can also be expressed and explained as “the measure and magnitude of faith and love.”

Though it may not be visible, by preparing diligently and making efforts,

although we don’t know when it will come true, when we do our best,

the foundation for hope is laid at last.

Even the one and only given human life must be prepared in advance, only those who give their best at this moment, who strive in the present, gain the fundamental driving power to achieve their desires and goals at last.

Of course, the level and degree may vary,

there are many people just the same with a can whose inside is empty, which makes a loud noise, complaining loudly without understanding the subject, they have been around quite many.

Those who do not change their words, thoughts, and actions, but seek to achieve their goals, are the most ignorant and greedy.

Human life was given by nature. If we do not follow its flow, it is always difficult, challenging, and painful.

The difficulties and pain are not caused by anyone else but by ourselves. We are the ones who dug the hole, rolled around in it, and set it on fire.

That is what it means to be human.

Regardless of East or West, many people know that we have to think out of the box to live is said for that reason.

There are no coincidences in the world, only inevitabilities disguised as coincidences exist.

There is a story of an ant and a grasshopper in Korea. It is not about diligent (the rich) and lazy (the poor) people but about the diversity of human life. The ant lives according to its given life, while the grasshopper lives as it is. The story implies that it is natural to live your life to the fullest in your own way.

Therefore, those who are faithful, adaptable, and eager to act with recognizing the importance of moment by moment with awareness and mindfulness will live life with less hardship, less difficulty, and less pain.

After all,

they will all get back to nature again.

Healing session through 2023 Dutch Workshop

04/28/2023 By admin Leave a Comment

Healing session through 2023 Dutch Workshop

At the Healing Session
It’s acupuncture,
but not that one for sure.

Relax, and feel the energy!!
That energy will take you a certain point.

Focus, and see it!!
Make sure nothing you can do.
You are just one as a medium.

Just follow that energy,
Nothing you can do.
My body is not mine,
Even energy is not mine either.

Realize, and do it !!
Then, you can get to a certain point as your goal for healing,

even to the ultimate purpose in your life.

On the 9th of April, 2023,
an opportunity presents itself for a unique healing session through the practice of acupuncture. This modality, however, is not your conventional approach. Rather, it transcends the physical body to access the subtle realm of energy.

To truly benefit from this experience, it is vital to release the grip of control and allow oneself to surrender to the flow of energy. Recognize that you are a mere conduit, a vessel for this energy to pass through, and not the owner of it.
In this state of surrender, one is free from the confines of ego and individuality, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things. The realization that the body is not one’s own, and even the energy is beyond possession, brings about a sense of oneness with the universe.

As you immerse yourself in this heightened state of consciousness, the energy will guide you towards your intended destination, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. It may even reveal to you a deeper purpose and meaning in life.

By relinquishing control and allowing the energy to lead the way, you open yourself up to infinite possibilities and boundless potential. Trust in the process and embrace the journey, for it is in the surrender that we find true liberation.

Are you practicing with correct understanding of martial arts?

09/16/2022 By admin Leave a Comment

Are you practicing with correct understanding of martial arts?

Written down in English and Korean

Are you practicing with correct understanding of martial arts?

무예란

Excerpts from 85page, Actual Meaning of Muye (무예) with Musul (무술) & Mudo (무도) with a diagram of “Searching for the Forgotten Half in Martial Arts”.

This book tries to illustrate the basics in practice in both martial arts and life for the correct performance with fundamental core for exploring the authentic basic practice under one principle in order to reinforce your training and be thankful life as well. What I emphasize on and on is to realize how this world works, so that you can make your present consciousness deepen and borden with which enables you understand a very simple one: Principle of Nature as a pathfinder of your journey.

What do you want to get through martial arts training, or meditation, or any other kind of practices as a human with body as a machine? Still in illusion, or trying to seeking for something mysterious, or any profound, or any special philosophy? The truth and its principle are always simple and succinct since human history commenced.

Can you explain literally the meaning of Martial Arts? People say often it is explained only with yum & yang in practicing, but it is not enough when we come to think of it by the principle of nature, for it can not be worked only by yum & yang which itself are as it is we call it Taekuk.

When it meets Nothingness, in other words, two in one, then starts working or going around, thus, as be shown at the below diagram, it is to be a right expression‎‎ when we can show Samtaekuk in training; yum & yang in Nothingness or Mu; The visible world (yum & yang) in the invisible world (Mu)

Let’s get to the point.

Muye (무예), in which implies three significant spheres: Skills, Philosopy and Medicine: All are interconnected under one principle. If each martial art does not encompass all three kinds abovementioned, it leaves much to be desired. You need to check your martial arts. Do you like to train only to be strong skillfully and physically? then, no problem, go ahead. Ignorance is bliss 😊

1. Martial Arts
– skills physically – Relax, feel the energy, Feel and connect, harmony and balance in flow energy – grounding, rooting, centering

2. Philosopy – mindfulness and awareness – how the world works by the principle of Nature – the reality of Energy – The ultimate goal of human life through Martial arts training

3. Medcine – Healing system – The principle of Prompt Pain- Relieving & elimination

We are all know it is martial arts in English, but in Korean, we in Korea use three kinds of terms, Musul (무술), Mudo (무도), Muye (무예). We need to focus on why Korean anscesters use the term of Muye of them, for it includes the broden realm beyond martial arts in general in which is being trained the skills of offense and defense physically.

Seeing or feeling etc. the “Energy of Nature” in martial arts training are an essential prerequisite to be a holistic martial artist who can realize the “Nature of Reality”. Training holistically in martial arts is to know the Nature of Reality and put it to practical use in daily training and even in life.

If you still have no idea of it until now, it’s nothing but window dressing for doing only physically in the 21C with ignoring its foundational essence, which means you know only half, the rest of that half is a mental one; “Self-Acquirement” with “Body-Magnetization”, the Forgotten Half in Martial Arts Training.

This recent publication illustrates how it works and how to train and so on with the diversity of many diagrams and peculiar ways to let trainees understand with ease.

Try to read and understand it on and on, you can achieve it through your direct experiences.

Take your correct practice to the stratosphere and beyond. One way to launch your daily practice into orbit is by expanding your ability based on The Basics.

Kimu training gradually makes the things bland or overused recognize and lead stellar alternatives fits with you.

Over time you’ll recognize your redundant motions choices and learn the difference between wrong and right, good and bad in motions you have been training thus far.

I am sure it will be one small step for your normal training and one giant leap for your journey in both martial arts and life.
