Welcoming New Year of Tiger with Understanding 3 figures of “Squid Game”.

Welcoming New Year of Tiger with Understanding 3 figures of “Squid Game”.

https://cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/dcM5/180?svc=cafeapi

As we welcome the New Year of the Tiger in 2022, wishing Haedong Kumdo families around the world to always be healthy and have blessing days all the time. I am going to briefly explain the Circles, squares, and Triangles that can be seen in the movie of “Squid Game” is at the peak of popularity worldwide these days.

From now, let me explain about the implied meaning of the Circle, Square and Triangle of that Movie, “Squid Game”. It illustrates in a plane figure the principle of Nature. Once you can understand it, it’s simple and straightforward.

Although it may be expressed as a very profound philosophical thought, once you know it, you can see that it just explains one principle. Let’s have a look at it, then, you may have your own thoughts.

First, let’s take a look at why the laws of nature could be represented with each figure as follows. It is not always enough to explain by my idea, and it can be explained differently depending on each person’s point of view. However, the basic principle should remain unchanged. Let’s get to the point now.

Understanding the Won, Bang, Kak Represented The Principle of Nature
Circle (Won) Heaven 1 The whole
(Substance itself)
Dot – starting point
Square (Bang) Earth 2 Foundation itself Direction-direction setting by one’s mind
Triangle (Kag) Human 3 The objective Angle – action

You need to consider and think it as also a three-dimensional figure, then you may understand clearer and livelier. So infinite circles will be made as you see the below.

First of all, everything starts from my mind in daily life.

Let’s mark the point where I am; a starting point.

I think and decide the direction of where I want to go; direction setting

The direction changes with each moment of judgment

with my mind; angle formation

A line connecting each end’s (red dot) points of infinity becomes “A circle” which means “The Whole”; substance itself. you can also draw infinite circles in the solid figure.

Human beings who think and move infinitely in it

If you connect the endpoints of the angles created through a point,

you get “a triangle”, which can be described human as a objective moving in life or making lines with endless angles, you can also draw infinite triangles in the solid figure.

If you connect each movement’s end points of where do not pass the starting point of human movement (or around it), it becomes “a square”

That is, triangles are formed in the square, and they are contained in a circle.

So you can also draw infinite squares in the solid figure. Here, when human movement makes a triangle, it has two point from the center of starting point, so it means the connection combined do not pass over the starting point, which is just Foundation itself.

In the end, the square becomes the basement for human movement, which can be an earth. The life of human beings working on it goes through the starting point in the circle. According to each person’s mind, the direction and angle are formed and can be described with a triangle. In other words, the triangles can be viewed as the movement line of all moving living things.

As long as a human being has a body as a machine, Myself should be the main character of the world, that is, who will be the objective in this world. Whatever I do is up to my mind, and all the results come from me. There are many kinds of play that contain this principle in Korean traditional games, even we can find it into the Korean flag. If there are any kinds of questions or opinions, you may contact with me and talk some anytime.

Welcoming the new year of Im In-nyeon (Tiger in Korean), it also makes us contemplate a bit deeper again what to do in preparation for next 10 years for better next step, as we do not forget well that many years in the past have been becoming what I am now.

https://m.cafe.daum.net/uwhkf/MbWZ/46?svc=cafeapp

My new book, “Searching for the Forgotten Half in Martial Arts”, refers to more details including the below explanations. You may leave your address and a postal code with a phone number for purchasing a copy after remitting through PayPal Account (bmw43@hanmail.net) etc.

■ Introduction with its contents

https://m.cafe.daum.net/enlightenment-k/hApa/27?svc=cafeapp

The basic training with the Order of Muwi (무위정법) has shown in Bulgaria, which is a basis should train from the beginning stage, not high level. Just before their moving in the below video, each one all guided to do like that by the energy through “Feel & Connect” , just the same as fuel to ignite a bonfire in order to learn & practice Body-Magnetization; Self-Acquirement.
If you do not know it, you never reach the essence of body movements in martial arts, even the principle of all things in heaven and earth. No matter how well performed or all-out earnest endeavors in martial arts, or in religion or any other philosophy, it’s impossible to attain a certain destination, because one should know the reality of Energy; Love, which will guide us to right things for better training and better life as well. You came here hectically, even when you return, you will go like that, just the same as roaming monks, hermits and ascetics who have been dedicating for all life without perceiving the reality of nature; Love. All are interconnected under one principle which is simple and succinct.

○ Muwi means action without intention, thus, the energy of Love given from Nature lead your body. It is very simple and a basic training.

One principle can explain all things around us because all is interconnected in the universe, which will lead a clearer perception and a livelier impression by an intuition in saying, acting & thinking in daily life.

Most of people consider the order of Muwi as a high-level, but it is the basic one for better and correct training, just the same as people think two swords skills as a high level. But we in JSKR HK teach two swords skills from the beginning.

Anyway, Kimu helps to realize and perceive one principle, which is my job as a founder of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu; forgotten half.

This Kimu training is that;

1. Building a pathfinder for honing body and mind

2. Implanting a light pillar into the body

3. Downloading it for practical use.

4. It has a blade of both side; good or bad, virture or sin etc. Thus, in case of its bad or incorrect usage moment by moment, all influences come back to you right now, or sooner or later; Destiny or Karma.

Depends on your mind,
all happens; miracle and faith.

5. Should be able to understand what you do at the standpoint of Nature’s view. Because all things will be given from Nature; principle of Nature.

6. This is a basis for achieve Self-Acquirement; Body-Magnetization, which is a fundamental factor or a tool in martial arts training physically and mentally and even in religion philosophically and spirtually, and in all cases in human life; Spiritual Growth; the ultimate goal of human life.

7. Building a body condition to enable us to mimic (carry out) the Power of Providence, or the Love of God, or the Wavelength of Nature; blessing.

8 Do not waste time to see something mysterious or special by your will and also do not try to find where good or strong energy is; find it in yourself; all come from human ignorance and greed.

9. Should know each function of body+E and mind+E; body follows mind; human mind follows Nature (Love); principle of nature; forgotten half. Nature +E has a consciousness and is alive.

10. You don’t have to compare to others, just try to know yourself on and on; reflection, determination and gratitude.

11. Don’t forget that three kinds of axiom; Creation (Appearance), Changes and Extinction; principle of nature.

12. It is the very essence of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu, which is a basis; a tool, for honing body and mind in martial arts training and in life as well.

It is My mission through Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu is to let people think out of the box; conscious change for better life and correct practice.

It look so easy and simple!
Can you do that?
It is not a skill, no matter how hard you made all out efforts, it does not matter.

Kimu (기무, 氣武,energy in the martial arts)=>氣無(energy in the nothingness)

09/24/2021 By admin Leave a Comment

Kimu training is to hone the principle that my body automatically moves with the flow of energy, which benefits each individual’s activities not only in martial arts but also in everyday life. It is not talking about any special or particular secret, which is very simple and not complicate,
but you behave appropriately as long as you have a human body machine.

That is to say, it is talking about the most basic principles of the world,
and knowing it does not mean that you become a special person or seem to know the whole world.
It is extremely realistic and practical, so it never falls into the mystical, superstitious, religious, and supernatural things that might be common in other religions and philosophies.
This is because you will get to know the basics of how all things move with your body and mind.
That’s Kimu training.

It may sound absurd to say that it moves automatically according to the flow of energy.  With a direct-experience, you can understand what my body already knows. Moving means the muscles of my body move.
You will be able to learn a little more finely the function of extensors and flexors on the body.

Doing in movements when we can follow the flow of energy without my intention is not the high level, which is the fundamental thing has to be based on all movements in martial arts, just same as two swords training is taught from the beginners.

Training with a whole body means,
when we get to realize it physically & mentally, relax our whole body.
We, first of all, should remember that
‘first – Relax, and feel the energy,
second – Focus, and see it,
third – realize, and do it.’

Using our whole body is to make us to get to understandhow to use energy efficiently and how to save energy physically in training.

Also it helps us come to know where energy move all over the body
and how to follow it in training and healing as well,
which will make us get to understand how to use our body physically and mentally
according to the flow of energy.

Finally it will let us get to realize how to use our body not only by using muscles,
even only by energy without my intention by the Order of Muwi,
which is Kimu (기무, 氣武(energy in the martial arts)=>氣無(energy in the nothingness).

You may say it literally as a aiki(合氣)or a hapki(합기) etc. which show the principle of Nature
because its essence is the same in the universe as well as you can also consider
what the mean of 기합(氣合) in Korean is.

More detailed explanations with videos & photos showed through 2019 Greek Workshop.
It takes time, but trainees in martial arts should be able to know and train through it.

A Feedback by Viktor Baychev 2 dan, Bulgaria HK Rep.

A Feedback by Viktor Baychev 2 dan, Bulgaria HK Rep. (August in 2021)

   “EMPTINESS IS COMPLETENESS”

Only after we have completely emptied our minds from parasitic thoughts, we can succeed in remaining relaxed, but then again concentrated and it is then, when we are able to fully merge with the Universe and energy that surrounds us. We receive what our mind needs, we gain the energy that our body and soul requires and we dispose of the excess that burdens us. We are grateful for what we have accomplished and complete with the harmony we have acquired.

Starting August 27th and continuing until August 30th the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Bulgarian Haedong Kumdo Association has organized an International Workshop under the guidance of Grand Master Kim Jeong Seong and held in Sofia, Bulgaria and by the way it was carried I would not hesitate to admit that I myself feel complete and accomplished.

A total of 21 participants took an active part in the seminar, with foreign guests being from South Korea, Greece, USA, Ireland, The Netherlands, Sri Lanka and UK.

The day before the actual seminar started, Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo Bulgaria held a color belt and dan grading test under the supervision of GM Kim. Personally, I feel that everyone who took the test did very well, although I must point out the excess nervousness in some of the color belts, which prevented them from showing the best of their abilities and the full extent of what they have learned. Nevertheless, all of the HK Bulgaria students have passed their respective grading tests and have received comments on any of the details they need to correct further in their classes.

Three members of HK Bulgaria have further managed to pass their 2nd dan test, as well as Kathy from Ireland who passed the test for her 3rd dan. All dan test attendees further completed a real sword cutting test with cardboard tubes. At the very end of the test session GM Kim has spoken before all participants with notes of guidance.

The seminar itself was divided into two sessions per day, each session being 2 hours long and the total number of sessions for the whole workshop was five. The first day of the seminar was concentrated on Kimu, one’s work with energy, as well as kumbup forms with one sword. In my personal opinion, these first sessions were one of the most self-fulfilling experiences during the seminar. Everyone was let in their own way experience the energy flow and how the energy passes through your body and most important – how to let your body follow the energy. Following the energy helps both the body and mind when performing kumbups such that, all is done in a more harmonized manner, but it also helps the energy to continue through your body into your sword and only in that manner the sword becomes complete with your body and not just an instrument that requires much effort. Many of the participants spoke before the others about their particular experience and sharing that knowledge was most beneficial for everyone.

GM Kim has explained many details to help us grasp the immense importance of how to control, guide and feel the energy not only throughout our HK classes, but also throughout our everyday life and activities.

The following sessions continued with explaining and covering specifics of one and two swords kumbups, including yedo and bonkook forms. Many little details and glitches were cleared thanks to Grand Master Kim, as well as to Master Christoforos Christodoulou from Greece, who has helped along. At the end of one of the sessions there was yet another 3rd dan test held for one of the Greek participants who took the test before GM Kim and Master Christoforos.

GM Kim has dedicated nearly two full sessions on real sword cutting of cardboard paper tubes and virtually every participant had the chance to learn specifics on how to properly cut hard objects. This was a very important practical exercise, since it is the essence of the Korean Haedong Kumdo martial art with one and two swords. Before the actual real cutting each participant practiced specific details which could give better cutting performance, better sword guidance and handling, as well as gracefulness in performing a cut with a flawless technique. I believe this was one of the most exciting practical experiences throughout the whole seminar and which sparkled some great enthusiasm in all color belts present as they too had the chance to do real cutting with GM Kim.

Following each morning session all participants attended lunch together in a nearby restaurant, where all spoke and shared their experiences and feeling of what they’ve learned. Each evening we all had dinner together at downtown Sofia, as well as little stroll around the pedestrian area at the very heart of the city.

Apart from practicing kumbups and cutting, we also had a practical session on two sword sparring drills (gyokkum) and I am very happy with this particular session as two swords gyokkum is a very specific knowledge that could be practiced only in Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo. The seminar was concluded with a two hour session on Monday (August the 30th) where GM Kim has taught the different level groups some new kumbup specifics, as well as forms needed for higher dan participants.

At the very end of the seminar all participants received a Certificate for completing the workshop, as well as some official plaques and gifts. Bulgaria HK Association presented Alexander Kostov and Mario Kitov with an HK aluminum practice sword for their great support in helping and organizing the seminar.

Following the official days of the seminar, some of the foreign guests namely GM Kim, Kathy from Ireland, Lisa from the US and Dominic from the Netherlands joined me, Philip and Alexander on a short 3 day trip around the country. We managed to reach the Black Sea coast and some of its famous sea resorts near the ancient town of Nessebar. We stayed at the St. Vlas resort and joined ABC Fight Club and Master Krasimir Gerginov 7 dan, who lead the club on their Taekwondo and Kickboxing summer camp. Grand Master Kim gave a full early morning demonstration class to all participants of the camp which included HK basic techniques, as well as paper cutting. There were many kids and young athletes who had a lot of fun learning HK basics. At the end of the demonstration class, GM Kim presented Master Gerginov with our official seminar plaque. The day continued with sightseeing tour around the ancient city of Nessebar, followed by some beach fun and ended up in the evening with a dinner with Master Gerginov and other instructors from ABC Fight Club.

During this day of our trip, we had lots of conversations about energy, healing and self-healing and I have learned a great lot from GM Kim on some specific details of healing with energy and the process of how this is performed. I would not be modest to say that I believe I have managed to understand in a great extent the knowledge and wisdom behind that process. I learned how to seek the REFLECTION in my past experiences in order to locate the origin of the health problem, then I learned to use DETERMINATION in order to refuse the existence of this same health problem, and as soon as the energy and determination helps me overcome this problem or issue, I learned to use GRATITUDE and be thankful for the help I have received. This process controls energy flow through our body and has the ability to heal. I would also never forget that following a healing practice, one should drink some water, because water is life.

On the next day we continued on towards another part of Bulgaria and visited the ancient ruins of the Thracian Capital Perperikon followed by a visit to some hidden Thracian megaliths and altars near a tiny village named Kovil. We had a great hike and shared some great conversations on the way.

On our last day we headed towards the ancient Roman town of Philippopolis (now Plovdiv), which is the second largest city in Bulgaria and had a fun sightseeing tour around the Old City with a lunch at its very heart.

Unfortunately, it all had to end and everyone departed the following day.

To end my feedback, I would like to stress that besides the priceless lessons and shared knowledge that we have all gained from GM Kim, I have also made some new friends that I feel will remain my friends for life. I am already missing every single one of them and I am eager on any future occasion for meeting them up again and again…

The basic training with the Order of Muwi (무위정법) in Bulgaria.

09/09/2021 By admin Leave a Comment

This Kimu training is that;

09/09/2021 By admin Leave a Comment
