Hello, Is there a branch of Haedong Gumdo in Australia? I am currently a member of another Korean organisation of HDG and would like to leave them and find another organisation in Korea to assist me with my training and certifying my Black belt students here in Australia.
I received my blackbelt in haedonggumdo in 1998. In 2001, I bought a ‘jin-geom’ or sharpened steel sword. When I move in Korea, I need to inform the local police force that I have moved my sword. I will soon move to my native Canada and want to take my sword with me. I worry that if I return to Korea to visit, I may be fined because I cannot prove the location of my sword. How can I officially export my sword out of Korea?
