Read the Meta-Language of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK – Part 1 to 7

Before the upcoming 2024 seminar in the United States, with a sincere desire to help the USA Haedong Kumdo practitioners in their lifelong training, I wrote an article titled “7 parts of Read the Meta language of the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK” as a proposition.

In this article, I briefly explained, “Sword and KI,” “the Principles and Theory of Ssangkum and Kimu,” which are subject on the seminar agenda. I also translated and shared the contents of the past interview into English, explaining my previous activities and background in Haedong Kumdo.

I anticipate the participation of many accomplished instructors and masters and practitioners of Haedong Kumdo from the United States in this seminar.

I hope that by discussing various techniques and explanations not found in the other Haedong Kumdo training, participants can understand them with their bodies and minds, contributing to their personal development and growth.

Through this seminar, I also hope that participants can learn about the “Forgotten Half in Martial Arts” and understand what it means, as well as uncover the secrets it reveals for the first time in the 21st century, as described in my book “Searching for the Forgotten Half in Martial Arts.”

이번 2024년도 미국세미나에 앞서서, 미국 해동검도 수련생들에게, 이번 세미나를 통해, 무술 수련의 핵심을 깨닫게 하여, 그들의 평생 수련에 도움을 주고 싶은 마음에 아래에, “7 parts of Read the Meta language of the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK” 라는 명제로 글을 써 보았다.

그 내용 중에는 이번 세미나의 목차 중 Sword and Ki, principles and theory of Ssangkum, 그리고 Kimu 에 대한 설명도 간략하게 해놓았다.

또한, 몇 년전에 인터뷰한 내용도 영어로 번역하여 알리면서 본인의 과거 해동검도 활동 경력과 배경도 함께 설명하기도 하였다.

이번 세미나에 많은 미국 해동검도 수련생들과 유단자, 사범, 관장참이 대거 참여하길 기대해 본다.

기존 해동검도의 수련내용에는 없는, 처음으로 이야기하는, 여러가지 술기와 설명들을 몸과 마음으로 이해하고 자기 발전과 성숙에 기여했으면 좋겠다.

이번 세미나를 통해 본인이 출간한 “Searching for the Forgotten Half in Martial Arts” 책을 통해, 세미나의 참가자들이 Forgotte half가 무엇인지, 무엇이 21세기 처음으로 밝히는 비밀인지, 알게 되었으면 좋겠다.
