PART-2 The fundmental essence of Haedong kumdo and the principle of the Nature – LOVE

02/02/2012 By admin Leave a Comment

Feedback of French Haedong Kumdo Seminar in 2011 in  Paris, Lyon, Montpelliar, Axi, France by French Haedong Kumdo Association from 25th March to 5th April 2011.
PART-2 The fundmental essence of Haedong kumdo and the principle of the Nature – LOVE
Training in the Martial Arts emphasises a sound mind, sound thinking, and sound behavior.
It is said that just keeping this simple principle is enough, because by following these few rules we can achieve the realisation of the true meaning of life or personal enlightenment.
Just by practicing what is right at every moment, the degree of Naekong (Inner Power) accumulates with each passing day, and may be seen by amount of Unconditional Love one is able to demonstrate, despite the hardships that we all have to face in life.
So when we just try to feel the flow of energy, try to know, see and keep & follow it, then the power of Nature affects to the present state of things by many kinds of figures around us as it changes and does over and over continuously, sometimes strongly or weakly, sometimes much or a little, long or short and so on according to the degree of Inner Power and the amount of Love as well.
What we perceive with continuously different objects , sometimes according to the individuals’ accumulated practice or love for Nature.
For instance, acupuncture has no fixed or cure-all points. It’s because acupuncture helps to circulate the energy of Nature ( Ki/Chi ) in a given moment with different ways.
Only human beings with sound mind and those who practice (serve or sacrifice) with sincerity for others, can heal others’ diseases.
By trying to see the flow of energy and recognise it, and finally come to know ourself, we can know others as well.
As we come to feel and see, recognising every phenomena around us, we can reach a level from which we can not only heal our own injuries but also those of others.
In martial arts practice, with self-recognition or realization of the principle of basic movement, others can be taught with an earnest and unselfish mind,
thus then they may also have some healing power and the ability of perceiving thers’ pains through having a constant and stable mind.
I am sure that it’s the same with martial art, that every action can be ultimately eval!uated by the amount of love, that is demonstated by the practitioners behaviour in daily life.
Unconditonal Love is easy to say, but in the modern world it takes great effort and self disipline in order to maintain this state of awareness in everyday life.
For this, we need long-time enduring practice with personal disipline for our whole lifetime.
We should recognize the truth as quickly as possible in our lives so that we can realise that we exist to learn about love and then practice it for a better life with happiness, and thereby increase the overall level of love on this ground, the so-called “an Earth”, which is actually a minute particle in the universe.
