RULES
All the divisions will separate in men and women, boys and girls and different ages.

If any division has no more than 2 athletes then they will go to the next category

or mixed with men or boys.
CANDLE EXTINGUISHING
Every gup(10-1), 1st and 2nd Dan will try 10 times with Mokkom(wooden sword) The one who will extinguished the candle more times is the first, second and third place. The 3rd and 4th Dans will try with Jingum(real sword) the same times.

TEAM KUM BUPS
Every team must be no more or less than three athletes no matter men or women mixed or boys and girls.

Any country can have as many teams as it wants.

The divisions are : colour belts under 18 years old, coulor belts 18 plus ,black belts under 18 and black belts 18 and up.

The colour belts will perform any sang su kum bum they want from 2-10 and

the black belts any sang su kum bup 11,12 or yedo 1,2,3,4,5. If any team wants to participate in team kum bups with double swords then the colour belts

can do ssang sang 1-4 and black belts 4-10. No higher level so all the teams can participate equal!

All the athletes of the teams they will start at the same time and finish the Kum bup

at the same time no matter direction but sechronized no at different time or extra movements and techniques.
CUTTING
First all the athletes in all categories will try to cut vertical a piece of paper,

then the half of them who will have better results will go to horizontal cutting

and the best three cutting will take first, second and third place.
NO BAMBOO OR WOOD CUTTING, ONLY PAPER with wooden sword

for 10 -1 gup 1st and 2nd dans. 3rd and 4th dans will try with real sword.
SPARRING
All the athletes must have their gear for the sparring which is for their secure fight. POINTS are: any cut in the head is 2 points,in any other place on the body is 1 point.

Dear Instructors members and friends of UWHKF, Haedong!!!
I am giving you the schedule of the 1st European Haedong Kumdo Championship and seminar.
I am expecting you coming in Athens Thursday or Friday morning and leaving Monday or Tuesday.
The place we will stay and do the games is 1,1/2 hour far from the Athens airport.

The name of the city is Loutraki and the sport complex named Sport Camp www.sportcamp.gr.

For the team that will plan to come earlier or leave after we will arrange more meetings and training with GM Kim All the teams who will leave on Monday or Tuesday or they come early on Thursday

if they want they can have a sightseeing that we can arrange upon request and amount of people.

Everything it depends on the teams and when they will arrive or leave.
CHAMPIONSHIP
The Games cost for Kum bups and Sparring is 30 euro Additional categories are: 1. Ssang Kum bups (2 swords) 2. Paper cutting 3. Candles Second categorie +10 Euro and the other two +5 Euro each
4. Team Kum bup 30 euro per team (no less than 3 no more than 5 people)
Every team can demonstrate HK no more than 5-8 minutes time!!!
You must reply to me as soon as possible up to 10th of February to tell me

the number of the people you will bring with you in Athens. The booking is limited by the sportcamp and has to be made with 30% deposit

by the 15th of February in the bank which I will send you soon.

The remaining amount is due up to end of March. For more info pls contact us
