2016 Russian JSKR-Haedong Kumdo

Seminar & Championship

On the 7th, 8th and 9th of May, 2016, in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, there was held the 5th

International Haedong Kundo JSKR Seminar, as well as the 2nd hampionship of Russia .

Representatives of Moscow and

the Moscow region,

Novy Urengoy,

St. Petersburg and

Smolensk,

spent three unforgettable days improving their skills under the supervision of the President of the United World Haedong Kumdo Federation (UWHKF), Grandmaster Kim Jong Song (9 dan).

The seminar was organized by the Moscow Representative Office of the Association, headed by the Representative in Moscow and the Moscow Region, Leonid Lee, and by the Russian HK JSKR Association (President Sergey Vasilevsky).

Excellent organization of the event and the hospitality of the owners helped to create a festive atmosphere and sincere friendships between the athletes from different regions of Russia.

Special attention was paid to the Seminar on the forms of Yedo Kumbup for black belts, as well as the basic techniques and fundamentals, kibon donzhak and sparring basics for the beginners.

On the 9th of May, the Victory Day Competition took place. The Russian Championship Competition was held in three categories: Contact Sparring (Kerugi), One Sword forms (Kumbup), as well as a Sword Dance (Kummu)
The lovely Haedong Kumdo holiday ended, and we thank Grandmaster Kim Jong Seong, Leonid Lee and all the staff of the Moscow Representative Office of the Russian HKA for the great time we all had.
